Senior Night - October 14th **Update #2**
Update - Seniors & family members, letters were not sent. Please use this information for Friday evening.
A little background, information & advise, dress nice as this will be your moment to shine! Parents, you will need to pay to enter the game, but you'll receive a 5x7 picture later as a keepsake of this event. Parents/escorts, with your student, you'll meet at the visitor's band bleachers on the track at 6:00. There, Mrs. England will give the escorts a purple carnation for you to wear. You'll line up in alphabetical order, based on the number Mrs. England gives you. You'll move to a spot on the track where you and your student will get a picture taken by Lifetouch (it'll be given to you at a later date). Then, you'll get back into line and when your name is called, walk across the track as the annoucer "tells your story" as you wrote it and gave to Mrs. Sewell. Applause, applause, applause. Then you'll wait until all are announced and on the other side of the track.
At the conclusion of the event, Parents/escorts, you will head to your seats in the stands. Seniors, you will go to the band room to get changed and your instruments. You'll play and march as a Senior Class across the track to the rest of the band (a really cool moment for your family to watch).
ENJOY THE EVENING!!

To Senior Parents,
Some of you asked me earlier in the year when Senior Night was going to take place. I was given the date of October 28th, but according to the FYI, that was WRONG! My apologies.
October 14th, Homecoming, Pickerington vs Newark, will be Senior Night. Senior festivities will take place before the homecoming festivities.
Here's the info from the FYI.
Senior Recognition
Seniors – You will be receiving an information sheet to fill out and return for the senior recognition scheduled BEFORE pregame and Homecoming festivities on Oct. 14th. Please take the time to fill it out (yes you…not your mom) and return it BEFORE next Thursday. Mrs. Sewell has to type all the information for our amazing announcer Charlie Vansant to read….it is not fun to type all of them in one evening! Turn them into your Field Commanders!
I'm sorry for the miscommunication. Please change the dates on your calendars and let your family members know. I realize that some of you have family coming in from out of town. I hope this change in date doesn't prevent them from coming.
Enjoy the evening and congrats on your Senior! Seems like just yesterday they were entering Kindergarten, doesn't it?
Sincerely,
Chris Oehlman
